Brookie Wood, APRN-BC Brookie Wood, APRN-BC holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Atlantic Christian College and a Masters of Science in Nursing Management from UNC Chapel Hill. Brookie worked as an Registered Nurse for 18 years in Medical Surgical, ICU, Same Day Surgery, and at the Rex Pain Management Center before becoming a nurse practitioner. She received her Post-Masters Certificate in Adult Nurse Practitioner from UNC Chapel Hill in 2003, and is focused on patients aged 13-geriatrics. Brookie, having assisted CPC in starting the first pain clinic in the early 1990s, has a wealth of experience in pain management nursing, and is currently a member of the NC Pain Initiative.
