Dr. Thomas Buchheit, President of CPC, graduated from Emory University and completed a residency in
anesthesiology at the University of California, San Francisco and a
fellowship in pain management at Wake Forest University. Before joining
Carolina Pain Consultants in 2002, he was Director of the
Pain Management Fellowship program and Co-Medical Director of the Duke Pain
and Palliative Care Center at Duke University. Dr. Buchheit is Board
Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with Subspecialty
Certification in Pain Management.
